Jacqueline Fernandez Detained on Mumbai Airport From Leaving India Over Extortion Case

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was stopped at the Mumbai Airport by immigration officials  on Sunday due to a L.O.C (Look Out Circular). 

The Enforcement Directorate had opened a L.O.C (Look Out Circular) against the actress in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar case. Jacqueline Fernandez who was going to Dubai for a show. Later, she was allowed to go for her show after brief questioning and has been informed that she has to appear again before the probe agency in Delhi.

The ED (Enforcement Directorate) will now issue fresh summons to the actress for appearing again at the Delhi office today.

The Investigating Agency (Enforcement Directorate) has already filed a charge sheet against conman Sukesh Chandrasekar in a Delhi court and also others (alleged involved) in the 200-crore money laundering case. In the charge sheet alleged by the agency that he extorted ₹ 200 crore from a businessman's wife while he was in a arrest in Tihar jail. 

The central Agency has discovered evidences showing financial transactions from Sukesh Chandrasekar to Ms Fernandez. He said that he gifted of a horse which worth ₹52 lakh along with a Persian cat worth ₹9 lakh to the actress, and these PETs were among the gifts worth ₹10 crores given by the arrested Sukesh Chandrashekar to Jacquiline Fernandez. 

Said by the ED (Enforcement Directorate) in their charge sheet, according to sources.

Investigation into alleged proceeds of crime reaching the Bollywood actresses from Sukesh Chandrasheka is still on, and the actress would have to be questioned again.

Along with Jacquiline Fernandez, the charge sheet also mentioned famous Bollywood Dilber girl actress Nora Fatehi, who has also been questioned in the case. J Fernandez and her sources have also been questioned.

Chandrashekar had earlier expressed to the media that he had gifted a luxurious car to Nora Fatehi.

Before this, a spokesman to Nora Fatehi expressed ot media that she (Nora Fatehi) "has been also a victim for such investigation". "She even does not know or have any sort of personal connection with the accused one. But she has been called by ED (Enforcement Directorate) to strictly help with the ongoing investigation of the said money laundering," the representative admitted in their sayings that the actress is cooperating in the probe.
